Pflueger Medalist 1592 from the 1930's w/ Dual Line Guides
For sale here is a 1930's Pflueger Medalist 1592 fly reel in excellent original condition. Left hand retrieve. Medalist fanatics will recognize many of the scarce features with this reel: the very nice Pyralin amber grasp, one-piece cast foot (slightly tapered on one end), single-click tongue, sculpted pillars, bronze spindle, dual Diamolite round line guards, screw-posts rather than rivets for the pawl-spring anchors, patent pending stamp and last but not least, the bird cage arbor. The click drag remains nice and strong. You may not see another one of these in a very long time!
