In partnership with Kāko‘o ʻŌiwi, The Nature Conservancy is reintroducing traditional farming to the Heʻeia wetlands to minimize flood damage, reduce sediments and nutrients flowing out onto the reefs of Kāneʻohe Bay, and provide healthy food and clean water to the local community.
