This pair of classic telephone linemans gaffs are the steel side spikes that would dig into the wood pole for easy climbing in the days before truck operated cherry pickers, Made of bent aluminum frames with steel spikes mounted on the lower outer edge the form curves under the boot and there are leather straps to connect to foot and calf. Leather still flexible and all buckles and belt holes are in good shape. INCLUDE REMOVABLE SAFETY CAPS TO COVER SPIKES Measures: 18" high x 6" across foot rest/spike x 8" x 7.5" L shaped bracing leathers with 23" long calf straps - age and use but flexible leather with no breaks solidly mounted spikes and straps.
