GL2 makes this rod very durable and responsive. It is a good choice for spoons and spinners for summer-run steelies. These are the rods that put G.Loomis on the map. They are light, sensitive and extremely efficient. In our opinion, the two most important factors in a steelhead rod are sensitivity and line control. Itâ€™s amazingâ€¦ as big as these fish are, their bite is so subtle that if you donâ€™t have an extremely sensitive rod you can miss a lot of fish.
