For sale here is a first-generation Orvis CFO III Screwback fly reel. Made in England in the early 70's by Hardy Bros. The early reels did not come with the nickel silver line guard. The reel remains in excellent+ condition showing minor edge wear. Mechanically the reel is perfect.

The reel features a quick change spool and is compatible with all later made CFO III's. Right or left hand retrieve. Don't miss out on this very scarce version of the CFO - a true modern classic!
