7′ 4” – 2 piece. The Shakespeare Ugly Stik GX2 is the latest version of the now classic ‘Ugly Stick’ and it combines the legendary virtually unbreakable Howald Process blank with modern design and styling to produce a very nice boat fishing rod.
The rod is very well finished with AO guides throughout, Ergonomically shaped EVA handle, quality screw winch and the now classic Ugly Stik diamond whipping.
The rod is supplied in a high quality rod bag.
The 8-12lb class is an ultra light boat rod which is perfect for getting maximum sport from smaller species whilst still having a reserve of power to handle anything bigger which muscles in on your bait. Ideal for species hunting and bream and flatties in light tides.
