Spongy Decorator Crab - Marcocoeloma trispinosum
The Sponge Crab is more commonly known as a decorator crab. They get this name because they will take different items and attach them to their body camouflaging them to their surroundings. With this particular species, they prefer sponges but will settle for polyps, algae, small shells, and anything else in the aquarium. Because of there tendency to destroy polyps or other corals in an aquarium care must be taken if they are housed together.
