2009-2011 Cardiff / Cardiff Area - JDM Fishing

Released in 2009 the Shimano Cardiff spinning reel is Shimanos dedicated entry into the trout fishing market.  The lighter 1000 Area models were offered in a high and low speed to suit anglers needs.  The 1000 models are also equipped with a specially tuned "Cardiff Area Drag" for fighting trout with extremely light line and reel stands.  All models feature an un-coated cork knob for a tactile feel. 2009-2011 Features The Cardiff / Cardiff Area features Shimano's Super Mg, CI4, AR-C Spool, CF Gear, S A-RB, One-Piece Bail, Easy Maintenance, X Aero Wrap, Saltwater Safe, and the handle knob is replaceable.
