This is a Vintage Orvis 5/6 Battenkill Disc Fly Reel #4 with clam shell case. The reel is designed for 5-6 weight fly line. The reel was made in England. The reel is in very good overall condition. The exterior has minor scuffing around the rim of the reel. The interior of the reel is in excellent
This is a Vintage Orvis 5/6 Battenkill Disc Fly Reel #4 with clam shell case. The reel is designed for 5-6 weight fly line. The reel was made in England. The reel is in very good overall condition. The exterior has minor scuffing around the rim of the reel. The interior of the reel is in excellent condition and has lots of life left in it The reel comes with what appears to be 6 or 7 weight WF fly line. I do not know who the manufacturer is, nor the age or overall condition of the fly line. This reel would fit nicely on a 7’6”- 9’0” bamboo or fiberglass Fly rod. It would also be a great fit for a 7’6”-9’0” graphite fly rod.
